How to reach Compiègne Area
Compiègne can be reached by train, bus or car.
Trains from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and many other European countries normally arrives in Paris.
Nearest airports are Roissy Charles de Gaulle CDG and Orly ORY, near Paris and Beauvais-Tille BVA north west of Compiègne.
By car, aims for Paris if you come from Spain, Portugal, Italy and Spain. If you come from Germany, Luxembourg or eastern European country compared to France, aim for Reims.
How to reach Compiègne from Paris
You have to reach Gare du Nord, where trains leave regurlarly to reach Compiègne. The trip last more or less one hour. We suggest you to take intercités which are faster than TER .
Tickets are available on SNCF web site or can be bought at the station. The price is 15.40€ for 2nd class and 23.10 for the first one (discounted fares are available on the website).
If you arrived in Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, take the RER B at the airport until Gare du Nord station.
If you arrived in Orly airport, take Orly bus to the station “Denfert-Rochereau”, where you will be able to take the RER B to “Gare du Nord”.
